Moonlit Ride!

This card is a first for me; the first time I have used NO flowers!!! I am sure the next card I make will have tons of flowers on it to make up for it though! I am absolutely in love with these series of stamps designed by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. This beautiful Carousel Horse is called "Moonlit Ride" and I have coloured him with Prismacolour Pencils and added sparkly glitter to his mane. They are absolutely amazing stamps; I own 6 so far but this is only the second one I have used! Slap on the wrist for me, but I just had to have them and I am sure I will use them all. Behind my horse I have used glitter paper which I have cut out with Spellbinders 'beaded circles' dies. My sweet little bows are from Hooked On Craft; love this store!

Pink And Orange Silver Fairy!

When I saw that Wee Stamps had some new release digi stamps available I could not wait to colour them in! Here is one of them, "Silver Fairy", and she is my favourite of the new releases. I am a sucker for anything with gorgeous wings! I have coloured her with copics and added sparkly glitter to her awesome wings. I have cut out my sentiment with a Spellbinder die which is part of the 'fancy tags' set. I have also used glitter paper, pearls, lace and bling!

Summer Fruit Picnic With Adele!

Here is a card I have made for fun with a 'summer picnic' feel to it. My gorgeous stamp is "Adele enjoying fresh apples" designed by Sarah Kay for Stampavie and I have coloured her with Prismacolor pencils. I have added Stickles to my flowers to make then nice and sparkly. My sentiment is from Hooked On Craft and my tag was cut out with Spellbinders "fancy tags". I also used Spellbinders "beaded ovals" for the red core'dinations paper beind my stamp. I embossed it with my cuttlebug and lightly sanded it back to make the embossing stand out.

Let me know what you think!

It's Getting Cold Outside!

It is starting to get a bit cooler here in Melbourne, Australia so I thought I would make a winter card! I have used the very sweet 'winter marci' from La-La Land Crafts. I just love these stamps, they are so cute and fun to colour as well. I fear it may not be much longer till I accidently buy all of them...... I have used my new Prismacolour pencils to colour her (only my second go with these pencils, but i'm loving them!). My mesh ribbon, bud and bow ribbon (how awesome is that ribbon? I love it!), tiny bow, flowers, and leaves are all from Hooked On Craft. I thought I would have another go at distressing, so I have distressed the edges of my card with a 'Heidi Swapp edge distresser'. I'm glad I purchased it because it is cheap, easy to use, and it works well!

Stay warm everybody!

Princess And The Frog!

Here is another card I have made just for fun! My stamp is a gorgeous digi called 'Princess and the frog" and is designed by Sylvia Zet for Spesch Stamps. I recently got a set of Prismacolour pencils and this is the first card I have made with them (I of course needed to buy all 132 colours......). This is my first go at colouring with them and I love them! I need to practice a lot more with my colouring but i'm having fun playing! My flowers, buds, and butterflys are all from Hooked on Craft. As always I have used fabulous Glimmer Mist on them all and added a touch of Stickles as well. This time I have used 'yellow daisy', 'rum punch', 'Mel's diner' and 'peacock' glimmer mists. The colour combination I have used for my card is very different from what I normally would do (i'm really a pink girl!) but I think it has turned out quite cute with yellows, reds and blues.

Thanks for your comments everyone, I love reading them!

Happy Birthday Maddy!

Here is a card I have made for my Niece's birthday. I thought I would have a go at a gate-style card which opens from the middle. I seem to make a lot of easle-style cards, which I love, but I wanted to try something different and it was fun to make. I just love the stamp; it is part of a collection of gorgeous Carousel horses designed by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. This one is called 'untamed love' and I have coloured him with copics and added some glossy accents.  For my flowers I used glimmer mist in 'tattered rose' for some added sparkle (I must use glimmer mist somewhere on my cards every time no matter what!). I have also used ribbon, bling and lace. Enjoy!

Please let me know what you think!

I hope all the wonderful Mother's had a lovely Mother's Day today! Here is the Mother's Day card I made for the best mum in the whole world; my mum! My sweet bear stamp is designed by Penny Johnson for Stampavie called 'bird and bear'. I coloured him with copics and highlighted the flowers of the stamp with glossy accents. My flowers, buds and leaves are all from Hooked On Craft. As usual they all started off white and coloured them all with Glossy Accents in 'strawberry shortcake', 'tattered rose', 'honey dew mist', 'meadow green', and 'flower power'. I Heart Cherrie!

Here is a 'thank you' card I have made for a friend. My cute stamp is "Cherrie" from Tickled Pink Stamps and I have coloured her with copics and added glossy accents and sparkly glitter to the heart she is holding. My doylie, flowers, leaves, and the embossed sentiment on my tag are all from Hooked on Craft. As usual I could not resist spritzing the flowers and buds with lots of lovely sparkly shimmery Glimmer Mist! I used 'tattered rose', 'timeless lilac', 'honey dew mist', 'yellow daisy', 'creme de chocolat' and topped them all off with a dash of 'iridescent gold' for added glitz. I have also used Martha Stewart punches and embossed my yellow core'dinations paper with my cuttlebug.

Happy Birthday Dragon!

I always find it hard to make cards for males. I just find it so hard to resist the urge to add flowers and glitter to everything! I have had a go anyway and this was the result. My dragon stamp is 'Auroa' designed by Lisa Victoria from Sweet Pea Stamps and I have coloured him with copics. I cut my tag out on my Cricut and my embossed sentiment is a stamp from Hooked On Craft. I have used Spellbinders dies called 'lacey squares' to cut out my background squares behind my stamp.

Let me know what you think!
