Cupid's Heart!

Here is a card I have made to celebrate Valentine's Day which is just around the corner! My stamp is a gorgeous little cupid from the new 'Valentine' series of stamps from Hooked on Craft and he can be purchased here. He is coloured with copics and I have added stickles for sparkle! I have gone all out with the Valentine's Day theme for this card and I have used hearts everywhere I could, and I could not resist glittering a few of the hearts too. I added a heart button with a little dangle charm hanging off it with a star shaped charm at the bottom which says "Just For You". I have distressed the edges of my paper panels and my stamp. My flowers and sweet little bow are also from Hooked on Craft.

I am entering this card into the following challenges;

- Pile it On; Love is in the air

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

Here is a sweet easel-style card I have made using The Greeting Farm's 'Dahlia'. I just love her! I have coloured her with watercoloured pencils and highlighted parts of the stamp using glossy accents to really make the image 'pop' (I am loving glossy accents and seem to be using it all the time now!). I love flowers, bling and pearls so I have used heaps of them for this card. For the dark blue background I have used core'dinations paper which I embossed then lightly sanded it back to make the embossing stand out. I also finally pulled out my sewing machine and had a go at stitching! (the green panels are stitched). For my bow in the corner I tied it using the 'bow easy'.

Let me know what you think!

Ribbet!!!

I have had lots of mojo today so I have completed another card. This card features a very sweet little froggy who is part of the new Valentine's Day stamps from Hooken On Craft and he can be purchased here. My 'for you' sentiment and my flowers are also from Hooked On Craft. The green rose was actually a white rose but I spritzed it with a dash of 'key lime pie' glimmer mist. I have coloured the cute frog with copics and then I went over the hearts and the flowers with a coating of glossy accents. The copic colours really 'pop' with the glossy coating!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
- Friday Sketchers; Love this week's sketch!
- Fab 'n' Funky Challenges; 'Animal Magic'
- Icopic Lover; 'Purple, green and orange'

Viva Pink!

For this card I have used my three favourite colours; pink, pink and pink! My lovely stamp is called 'Bookworm Fairy' and is designed by Hannah Lynn and she can be purchased from Crafts And Me. I have coloured her with copics and added some glossy accents for added shine! For my 'dotty' background paper I used a sheet of core'dinations paper and embossed it using my cuttlebug and 'tiny bubbles' embossing folder, then I lightly sanded it back to make the dots stand out a bit more. For the edges of the paper I have used Spellbinders dies called 'deckled mega rectangles large' and 'large deckled rectangles'. I also used a pair of Fiskar's 'deckle' sissors. My flowers are from Hooked on Craft and I have used a 25mm pink paper flower and also a 14mm pink paper flower. I spritz the flowers with Glimmer Mist in 'cosmos' for some sparkle (I love, love, love glimmer mist!).

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
- Crafts And Me Challenges; 'Monochrome'. My monocrome colour is the best colour ever (pink)!!!

Sweet Little Cupid!

Here is another of the gorgeous new Valentine's Day stamps from Hooked On Craft. How cute is this gorgeous little cupid? I love his big heart! He can be purchased here. I have coloured my cupid with copics and for the heart I have used glossy accents and micro beads. The gardenia flower and sweet little gingham bow are also from Hooked On Craft. I have also used my Spellbinders for behind my stamp which can be purchased from Simon Says Stamp.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
- Mojo Monday; Love this sketch blog!
- Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog; 'Simon Says....Bingo!'. What a fun challenge! I have used punch/die cuts, flowers and gems

Bzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!

I am very excited about the new range of stamps from Hooked on Craft! This gorgeous little fella is part of the just released Valentine's Day stamps, but I think he is not just for Valentines! I just love his sweet little face and cute little heart shaped antenna! He can be purchased here. I have coloured him with copic markers and added some glitter and stickles for glittery-goodness. I have shaded around my stamp with some grey chalk and I have also used a dash of glossy accents. The background paper I have used has sweet small little bees on it too! All the flowers (including the gorgeous yellow gardenia flower in the top corner) are also from Hooked on Craft. They now sell an awesome range of flowers, leaves and butterflies, and I (of course) had to buy a large amount of goodies!
Another new thing I have recently discovered is Spellbinders (when I say 'discovered' I really mean 'went on a spending spree for'...) and I have used some for the black background and the yellow glitter background too. The style is 'lacy squares'. I have found that Spellbinders have a lot of cool shapes to cut out that I can't do on the Cricut.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
- Kabboodles Doodles Challenge Blog; 'Black & White + 1'. I have used black, white and yellow!
- Let's Ink It Up!; Challenge #8 'Anything Goes'
- Sweet Sketch Wednesday; Just recently discovered this blog and I had fun with this week's sketch!

Tea party anyone?

Here is a card I have made using a stamp of a lovely little lady having a tea party named 'Gabrielle' from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I have coloured her with copics and a touch of copic spicas for added sparkle. The flowers, leaves and the cute little gingham bow I have used are from Hooked on Craft. For the flowers I have used 25mm pink paper roses and I have 'spritzed' them with a dash of Glimmer Mist in 'bronze' for some golden glitz. The leaves were actually originally white leaves but I coloured them with Glimmer Mists in 'cosmos' and a dash of 'bronze'.  You can purchase Glimmer Mists from Simon Says Stamp. I love using the white leaves and colouring them that way you can have any colour leaves you like!

Hooked on Craft - Card For a Male!

I find it quite hard to make cards for males becuase I never seem to have male-orientated images. Hooked on Craft has a fantastic range of vintage car stamps which look great on cards for males (or for females that like cars of course!). For the following card I have used one of the awesome vintage cars from Hooked on Craft which can be purchased here. They have a number of different vintage car stamps so check them all out here.
I am entering this card into the latest challenge at Mojo Monday which is a sketch challenge.
Let me know what you think!
